Adidas Light Jackets Adidas × Y-3 × Yohji Yamamoto Adidas Y-3 Yohji Yamamoto Track Jacket 2008 Blue

Rare blue Y-3 Track Jacket from 2008 that has a large, stylized vertical Y-3 applique on the front consisting of wavy rubberized lines. A vibrant color, and outside of wear on the print detailed below, appears to have been worn barely at all. Painted metal zippers have zero wear on them after 16 years of age! Interesting extended paneling in the armpits and an overall high quality of construction typical of earlier Y-3.

100% polyester but definitely a quality fabric with a soft reverse side. The elastic material is also very high quality on the cuffs, neck and hem with a nice high neck for warmth. Selling because it doesn't get enough wear, and the print is a bit fragile.

If you want to maintain the print I would absolutely NOT recommend machine washing this, even with a washing bag. Hand wash recommended to care for the print. After one machine wash on cold, lines came up at the ends of the design, in particular around the "3". I trimmed the hanging edges off as cleanly as I could which definitely improved the appearance. Print is still plenty intact and definitely gets the message across without looking too beat up. I almost wanted to peel the design off entirely because I think it would be a clean jacket without it and the lines don't leave trails because it's still so deadstock and saturated with dye. I'll leave that decision to you. Here for questions!
